Accreditations
Brockwells Forestry benchmarks all our business systems against UK and international best practice which includes the following accreditations:
- BS EN ISO 9002:200 first registered in 2000
- BS EN ISO 14001 first registered in 1996
- UVDB achieved July 2004
- UVDB Verify achieved September 2004
- OHSAS 18001 – achieved in June 2006
EFQM
Brockwells Forestry has gone through a series of six EFQM audits over a seven year period and currently has a score of 471 with strong individual scores for leadership, strategy and people.
Tree Cutting standards complied with:
- British Standard 3998:1989 "Recommendations for tree work"
- ESQC regulations
- Engineering Recommendations G/55/1 Tree Working in Proximity of Overhead Electric Lines up to and including 132kV
- Landowner permissioning standards
- Permissions of local authorities and other organisations responsible for the protection of trees or sites (when they have a legal responsibility)
- In accordance with AFAG safety guides and HSE guidance
- The customer and / or clients cutting requirements and policy standards
- Electricity Association Engineering Recommendations G55/1 July 2000
- Consideration for the Environmental i.e. SSSIs, SPAs and Tree Protection Orders
- New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA)
