ArcView GIS and hand held data collection devices
Brockwells Forestry Ltd first introduced GIS into its planning and reporting activities in 2003, when it was used principally for the production of graphical reports. A variety of applications have been subsequently developed to integrate information from our clients, Brockwells’ field/office operations and third parties to provide intuitive map-based methods of working and reporting. All of Brockwells’ GIS applications have been developed using ESRI software – ArcView 3.x, ArcGIS 9.x and ArcPad. The majority of office systems run on a Windows Terminal Server and are accessible to all users, either on the office network or via VPN.
