Replanting and the Environment

All our staff receive a basic training in recognition of potentially important or environmentally sensitive sites and every team is issued with a comprehensive manual containing guidance on how to carry out work where these sites have been identified. Additionally, Brockwells employ a full-time environmental adviser to assist the teams with making surveys of sensitive sites and oversee the work as required.

We liase closely with Natural England in making applications for work to be carried out in areas such as SSSI’s and where habitats for badgers, great-crested newts, bats and other protected species exist.

We take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and believe we set an industry example in excellence within this area of our operations.
