Services

Our key services are:

  1. Emergency response

Brockwells provide an emergency response service that over the years has operated at times of adverse weather in the UK and in France. We have an established response unit that can mobilise up to 15 teams and associated plant and machinery within 3 hours of an emergency call.
  2. Clearance of vegetation in proximity to electrical powerlines

Clearance of vegetation around power lines as part of a planned maintenance regime or on a reactive basis. Historically, Brockwells has carried out clearance for low voltage supplies up to 132kV power lines.
  3. Technical live cutting

Brockwells specialise in the clearance of vegetation using specialised insulated machinery and advanced clearance techniques which result in reduced customer minutes lost due to shut down operations.
  4. An Arcview GIS system incorporating remote data collection devices

Effective vegetation management is dependent upon a robust data management process and GIS system. Brockwells use Arcview GIS in association with hand held data collection technology to manage the capture and processing of millions of bits of data that are generated from the vegetation clearance business.
  5. Training

    International Powered Access Federation (IPAF)

Brockwells are accredited IPAF trainers. IPAF promote the safe and effective use of powered access equipment worldwide, and is the UK's most established access platform training programme. The IPAF training programme for platform operators is certified by TÜV as conforming to ISO 18878. All our operatives are IPAF trained and on completion are awarded the PAL Card (Powered Access Licence), the most widely held and recognised proof of training for platform operators.
